FIND’s New Campus Opens; A Powerful Moment for This Board Member

The FIND Regional Food Security Campus and Workforce Training Development Center opened its doors, and with it came the strange feeling of walking through a place that existed for years only as a set of plans and a fundraising target.

I have served on this board for five years, and I co-chaired the Capital Campaign Committee alongside my friend George Batavick. That committee did the work that makes a building like this possible. They made the asks, held the vision steady through every stage, and brought an entire community along with them. Congratulations to the FIND Regional Food Bank team, the Board of Directors, and especially our CEO Debbie Espinosa, MPS, CNP, who quarterbacked this project with class, grace, and fearlessness.

A particular shout out to the CV Strategies family, and to Lynn Oliva and Heather Anderson, who designed the logo and branding for the newly named FIND Regional Food Bank. Their work added the jewelry to the facility. My ask of my own team was a large one. The #CVStratPack answered it with unwavering dedication. Thank you Natalie Guzy, Jude Johnson, and my BFF of 42 years Beatrice Eslamboly for sharing the celebration.

And to my mom, Linda LaCombe, who showed me how to run a company that gives back. Our family will always have a place in this building.
