Keeping Great Company During CSDA’s Annual Conference
The CV Strat office filled fast and stayed full well past the hour we had planned to wrap up. That is usually a good sign…
Our mixer and open house during the California Special Districts Association Annual Conference brought clients, friends, and colleagues together from every corner of the state. Name badges came off early, conversations ran long, and laughter carried from one side of the building to the tent outside!
Some of the people who walked through the door have worked with us for years. Others we met for the first time last night. Talk moved easily between the practical and the personal, all in the interest of doing what CV Strat does best, forming true, lasting relationships. The combination of friendship and fellowship carried incredible ambiance and atmosphere throughout the night.
Evenings like this remind us what the work rests on. Public agency communications live in the details, and the details go better when you know the people behind them. Trust with a general manager, a board president, or a public information officer is earned slowly and renewed with every project. The CV Strat headquarters was full of people who have given us theirs, and we hold it with care.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, and to CSDA for gathering this community year after year. The evening also opened our 20th year serving public agencies, something we will mark in a few ways as the months go on.Until the next one…
