San Bernardino County’s special districts are not leaving AI to chance
Most public agencies are having the AI conversation right now. Fewer are having it together, in a room, with their peers.
The Association of Special Districts of San Bernardino County brought its members to a session on what artificial intelligence means for the daily work of a public agency. CV Strategies, Inc. was glad to host the group.
CV Strategies’ Matthew Adler and Jennifer Barnakian-Poland led the presentation, and they built it around the practical questions districts are actually asking. Where does this technology help you serve your community, and where does it introduce risk worth managing? The material was clear, grounded, and genuinely fun, which is a hard combination on a subject that tends to produce either hype or anxiety.
The session closed with live AI Jeopardy, with Chris Palmer, Elizabeth Willis, and Logan Montgomery, CTP competing on stage.
Credit belongs to the ASBCSD board. Every month they convene San Bernardino County’s special districts. No other region in California maintains that tradition.
