The City of Rancho Cucamonga enlisted the help of CV Strategies to perform a comprehensive assessment of internal and external communications across the city’s various departments and divisions and develop a clear, targeted enhancement plan to support improved communications. CV Strategies conducted dozens of staff interviews, reviewed hundreds of pieces of collateral materials, surveyed residents, attended community meetings and went on numerous site visits to develop an immersive understanding of the communication culture and identify areas for improvement. The plan, developed in close collaboration with staff, offered staff tactical recommendations, a roadmap to implementation, an updated style guide and a community outreach guide to serve as an instructional resource for enhanced outreach efforts.
